"Toad-ally" Fabulous!
Yes, it's my favorite day of the week at My Cricut Craftroom, Theme Day Thursday! This weeks theme is Disney's Tinkerbell or Cars. Since I only had time to make a card (okay 2 cards), I needed to use a cut from one of these two carts that aren't too detailed. If you have ever tried to use a Disney cartridge before, you will notice that there are a lot of details that cut better at larger sizes. I found this cute little "toadstool" in the Tinkerbell handbook.
I used the pattered CS from Echo Parks "Country Drive" stack along with solid CS from PTI and S/U. The stamped sentiment is from MPS "Punny-licious" set. I added a little bling by using Stickles in the flower centers. One interesting item that I noticed when cutting, the top, lighter layer of the toadstool cut out a little "dot" on the right side that wasn't pictured in the handbook. So I free hand cut that tiny little piece so it would stand out as black.
Here is another interpretation using Basic Grey's "Out of Print" cardstock. I just couldn't decide "whimsical" or "artsy". The sentiment I used for this card is from Pink By Design's "Feelin' Groovy" set. I added a little Peeled Paint Distress Stickles (because I couldn't resist:-)
Please stop on over to Erica's blog at http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com to see all of the other DT's creations. Thanks for stopping by! Have a creative day:-)

totally agree about the pieces to these carts cutting better at larger sizes, I made a baby name frame for my grand nephew at Christmas time, it was a good size and the pieces were still small...ekkkk
