Congrats To The Graduate!

Now with summer vacation well underway, there are a lot of graduation parties these next few weeks. This is one of the cards I made for a relative that graduated from college. I used the Better Together Imagine Cricut cartridge along with the Everyday Paper Doll cart for the mortar board. I used one of My Creative Time's stamps from the Follow Your Dreams set to create my own patterned CS. I popped up the eyes and wings for extra dimension and added a little baker's twine for a tassel. Yes, that is a smidge of Patina Stickles on the leaves. I'm using this for the Scrapalicious USA challenge this week - I missed the cut-off for a of couple others:-(

You Shine!

I took the suggestion from Charity and started using scraps for a challenge card since I had no power (my DH wasn't amused that I asked for a generator just for my cricut & gypsy). The card is 5x5 with coordinating paper strips, 4" x 1-1/4". I was going to use punches and ric rac to make a sun but I wasn't happy with how it came out so I ended up using my cricut to make a cut. The sun is from EDPD and the sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's Sweet Somethings set. This card is for Paper Playtime, Cooking With Cricut, and Wacky Wednesday. There is still time if you'd like to enter any of these challenges. Birthday Invitations

Good evening fellow all night crafters:-) I'm just getting started with the weekend chores and it is 10:30pm! Looks like an all nighter:-( Before I head to Walmart (thank goodness for 24 hour stores) I thought I'd share with you a peak at my son's birthday invites. He will be one on the fourth of July so I incorporated some RW&B. He also likes turtles. I entering this for the Paper Playtime Challenge, too.

For this invite I used Create A Critter for the turtle and part of the hat. I used another cut from Everyday Paper Dolls for the blue part. The balloon cut came from George. The CS is a combo of Stampin' Up, PTI, and DCWV Baby Boy Stack (I like to spread the love<3), Stickles, and airmail twine from The Cupcake Social. Off to start the laundry then head to the store! Simple Moments

Shhh.. the baby's still sleeping:-) Quick challenge card for Paper Cutz. I used DCWV "All Dressed Up" Stack, Paper Dolls for Everyday, and Stickles. The sentiment is a peel and stick. Not really fond of these because of the slight shadow it makes on the CS. I found it in a drawer so I decided to use it. Might be going back in the drawer;-) Thanks for stopping by. Father's Day Card for MPS challenge

This is my first uploaded card and I'm so excited I actually did it. My Pink Stamper is having a drawing for a Cricut Machine tomorrow for all who submit a FD card. I know I have one already but I thought I would donate it to my kids school if I won. I became a Cricut junkie from going to some all day crops there last year. Some moms would bring in their CE and carts to share with us. I used the EPD cart along with DCWV High School stack, SU cardstock, PK and SU stamps, and twill from Joann's. I'm crossing my fingers!
