Just Wordz Friday

This weeks theme at Just Wordz is all about "Tags". I used the Cricut Tags, Bags, Boxes & More cartridge to cut a large sized tag along with the Sweet Treats cartridge for the cupcake. That Takes The Cake

Welcome back crafting friends:-) My DH took the 13 mo for a walk this afternoon so I took advantage of the quiet time and whipped up a sweet card for a couple of challenges. Both Bitten By The Bug 2 and Die Cuttin' Divas wanted the Sweet Treats cart used. I love this cart. Although, every time I use it, I have the urge to eat ice cream. I have re-organized all of my card stock so I can't say exactly where the solids came from. The patterned is DCWV All About Girls stack. Thanks for stopping by. Have a creative day:-)

Sweet Birthday Wishes

I'm not sure where you live, but here in Illinois it's some wacky weather. I know I start out talking about the weather on my blog all of the time, but it is wacky! Last week it was in the 90's, this week it's been in the upper 60's and rainy. Next week it is supposed to be back in the 90's again. These 30 degree swings make my laundry room pile up!

Since it was too icky to be out today I was able to get another challenge card done. This one is for Crop Stop, Birthday Sundaes, Terrific Tuesday, and Wacky Wednesday challenges. The cart is Sweet Treats for the Terrific Tuesday requirement. I got a little emboss happy for the other challenge requirements:-) The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms "Sweet Somethings" set. Birthday Girl

Well, I was so excited to find out that Robyn (My Pink Stamper) and her bestie, Karlee (Karlee Krafts) birthdays are so close to mine:-)  My best friend is coming up from Naperville tomorrow for my birthday and bringing Portillo's! Even though this card is for Robyn, I wish all my fellow crafting Aquarians a big colorful happy birthday. I used the Sweet Treats cart along with DCWV's Sweet Matstack.

First submission of the year!

Wow! So excited to be crafting again. My goal was 1/1/11 to get my craft room put together. Well, I obviously didn't make that goal but I did get everything done except the sewing side. I couldn't wait to get to crafting so that part will have to wait:-) I was able to make a card for Robyn's (My Pinkstamper) first blog hop. I think it was such a cute idea to get word clues for the submission. She is soooo creative. Since I'm a week behind in challenges I'm going to use this card for Scrappy Moms Blog Challenge, also. Heading off to church so I'll post when I return.

Cricut Cardz Challenge

I just love cupcakes! This weeks Cricut Cardz Challenge was to make a card using a cake, cupcake, cookies or candy. I used the Sweet Treats Cart along with DCWV Sweet Stack and Scrappy Moms stamp. Thanks for looking:-)

Cricut Cardz Challenge

Well, I was able to get another challenge uploaded. I hope I get through the weekend to finish a few more, but tomorrow is a full moon and a lot of babies are born during low atmospheric pressure. My first was anyway. So I'll keep cutting, gluing and glittering until I have to go to the hospital. Maybe I'll even get to bring my Gypsy;-) 

This Cricut Cardz Challenge was to make a card for a wedding using any cartridge(s) or colors we'd like. I wanted to try out one of my new embossing plates from SU. I couldn't get it to emboss very deep so the pattern is difficult to see. The silver CS also reflected my camera's flash so it is hard to distinguish the black CS behind the silver.
