The first Tuesday of the month means... Yes! Tacky Tuesday!! This months challenge requires a snowman and the word "melt". Make sure you enter! Find out how by visiting September Ninth's blog today.
For my design team inspiration, I used the snowman from the Hello Kitty Greetings Cricut cartridge. Cricut has so many cute snowman cuts that it was hard to decide which one to use. I actually had made two other cards with different snowmen, but didn't really like how they turned out. One of them actually was very much like one of my DT sister's card (hers is cuter, of course). I embossed some white CS with the Cuttlebug D'vine Swirls folder and tore them in two pieces so they would fit my A6 sized card. I used the Pooh and Friends Cricut cart for the snowflakes (yes, they have a Pooh snowbear, too). The sentiment I cut from the "Just Because" Cards cart. Every snowman needs a little sparkle so yes, Stickles!

Sorry, I Froggot
Welcome fellow crafters! Today is my favorite time of the month - Tacky Tuesday! For this months challenge you need to use the word "frog" or "toad" in your project. I used the Boys Will Be Boys Cricut cartridge to create my DT card. I layered my cardstock on 6x6 card base. I used Polka Dots, Spots & Dots, and Distressed Stripes Cuttlebug folders. I popped the froggy up with foam adhesive and stamped my sentiment with a stamp from the More Punny-licious set by MPS.

Tacky Tuesday DT Card
Yippee! It's time again for another Tacky Tuesday Challenge over at September Ninth! I just love this challenge, not just because I'm on the DT, but because everyone has such unique interpretations. It's just so darned fun seeing them all!
For my card I used the Chore Chart Cricut cartridge. I welded the square to make the card, adhered a strip of scrap PP, added a couple of buttons, and popped up the layered dog cut. I printed my own sentiment on my Mac. I couldn't believe I didn't have one like this in my collection. Guess I'll be Googling for some dog sentiments this week:-) Dog Hop coming up:-)

Tacky Tuesday Challenge
Good Morning! The new Tacky Tuesday Challenge has begun. This month you will need to create a project using the word "Berry". Here is my DT card for this month. I used an A2 size card base with S/U Real Red, embossing only the top half with one of the Nifty Fifties Cuttlebug folders. I used S/U's scalloped border punch on a strip of S/U Green Galore CS and adhered the cherry pattern cs from DCWV Sweet Matstack to it. The die cut is from the Hello Kitty Greetings cart. I added some scrap ribbon and Maraschino twine from The Twinery (I had to use it somehow... the name was screaming to be used with this card). I finished off with some Stickles and a sentiment from MPS Fruit and Veggies Puns set.

A Sweet Hello
Good morning crafters! Hope all of you had a fabulous Fourth:-) Let's just say I'm glad the day is done. Big birthday party for my baby who turned 1 (one). Yes, he's my little firecracker for sure. Action plus!
Ruthie asked if I would do a card for her July Tacky Tuesday Challenge showcasing a cool summer treat and using the word sweet. Since I've been in this 50's zone, (you'll soon find out what I'm talking about when I get a certain package from a certain Kathy) I used one of my favorite carts, Nifty Fifties, along with the coordinating embossing folder. I also used swiss dots and script folders. The cardstock is S/U, the twine is from The Twinery, the sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Sweet Somethings set, and of course Stickles. I sized this card to fit into a 6.5" x 5" envelope. I have quite a surplus of these purchased at a local drugstore sidewalk sale:-)
Please join us on Facebook for September Ninth's Tacky Tuesday's Challenge. It's extremely fun! Thanks for stopping by. Have a creative day:-)

Sea you soon!
So let me just tell you, I have a 9 yob. What tv show do you think I've been watching after school for the past I-don't-know-how-many-years?! SpongeBob. Yes, I even know that song by heart! (Not sure if that's such a good thing;-) So, of course the first image that popped into my head for Tacky Tuesday's Challenge was..... SpongeBob. This cart was actually one of the first that I owned. My son had me make SpongeBob and Patrick as big as I could so he could put them on his bulletin board. Wow, there a lot of pieces! Don't try anything too small with this cart. You'll go crazy trying to put glue on all of those little pieces.
I made this card 4.5 x 6 so I could fit a bigger image on it. I have an absolute ton envelopes that fit this size card. (I bought up the entire load of Hallmark envelopes a local pharmacy was selling at a sidewalk sale for $10!:-) Other items I used was various DCWV and S/U CS, Stickles, ribbon (don't recall where), and a sentiment I printed out using SpongeFont SquareType font. Thanks for stopping by! Have a creative day:-)

Let's Roll Daddy-O!
Did I mention I love the 50's style?! I simply love the colors and the graphics! Funny though, this is the first time I used this cart. I originally purchased it because my mom wanted me to cut a poodle for a poodle skirt she was making (for what I have no idea). When the Simply Sunday challenge came around I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Luckily I am able to submit this card for Tacky Tuesday and Cricut Cardz. Thanks for stopping by. Have a creative day:-)

Hoppy Birthday!
Hello crafting friends:-) Here is my most recent card for a couple of challenges. The first challenge is Tacky Tuesday. We are supposed to use the bunny cut from the Birthday Bash cart, but I don't have that one so I used the bunny from Doodlecharms. We also needed to use the word or form of the word "hop" on our creation. The sentiment came from MPS's Punny-liscious set. The second blog challenge is Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge (CCCC). My SIL's birthday is very close to Easter this year so I'll be putting this card to use next month:-) Thanks for stopping by. Have a creative day!

Chick Power!
Good Day Crafters. I was so excited to do this months Tacky Tuesday Challenge. I've been waiting for the right challenge to use the chicken print from the Craft Fair set by American Crafts. I thought these chickens are just a stitch! We are supposed to use the chick from the Simply Charmed cart. I think it worked out great. Not sure if it's tacky enough. Or, maybe it is:-) I think this is my new favorite cart! I just love all of the cuts on this cart.

Whale Done! for Tacky Tuesday Challenge
My 6 month old is helping me type my blog today. He doesn't have a long attention span so I need to be a quick one finger typist. I came across a new challenge (new to me) on September Ninth's blog called Tacky Tuesday. She has it linked to a FB group which I really like because I can see everyone's entries as they post. We have to use the whale from the CAC cart. Mine is purple, of course, with some embossing and Stickles.
