Hello Summer!

I know, it's not officially summer, but I got a little inspired by the warm weather to do a little stamping! This card was made using Iron Gate Stamps Treehouse and Birdhouse sets. I just love that Treehouse set. That little tire swing is just adorable!! I cut the small star out with my Cricut and the Doodlecharms cart and then stamped the sentiment in black. The base is 5 1/2" square layered with some left over Pebbles patterned paper. The red is dry embossed with Darice's Woodgrain folder. The circle and star's edges are inked with Pumice Stone Distress Ink.

Thanks A Bunch

Welcome to another Card Creating Sunday for My Cricut Craft Room. My design team card features that adorable Doodlecharms cartridge. If you don't own this one, you most definitely should add it to your library. It has so many images that are so versatile for many occasions. Not only can you cut the images rather small, but the simple image designs make them ideal for cutting fabric as well as fondant in your Cricut Cake machine.

I used solid cs from Stampin' Up and a patterned cs is from Cloud 9 Design . I stamped a woodgrain image onto the brown cut of the basket and inked all of the edges for a little depth. I used some "pop-dots" to raise up the basket and some of the apples. I layered two colors of PTI ribbon and stamped the sentiment from My Creative Time's "Many Greetings" set. Christmas in July

I know it's hard to think about Christmas cards now when it's 90 degrees outside (here in the Midwest at least), but that's what Celebrate The Occasion blog challenge wants. I thought I would incorporate First Of The Month blog challenge also, so I used the Doodlecharms cart for the card. The cardstock is from DCWV The Eco Stack and S/U's (Stampin' Up) Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla. I used my new die from My Creative Time to stamp the sentiment from S/U's Teeny Tiny Wishes on to, and the ribbon is from PTI (Papertrey Ink). Thanks for stopping by. Have a creative day:-)

Teacher Appreciation Day

If you are looking for my blog candy giveaway, please click HERE.

Sorry I'm a little behind in my postings. Blogger was down almost 24 hours. I didn't realize how crazy it made me;-) I guess I use it more that I thought. This first card is for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge and Emma's Throwback Thursday. Our teacher appreciation day was last week so I'll be saving this card and using it for next year. I used Stampin' Up CS and DP along with Doodlecharm ribbon. The sentiment is from My Creative Time's My Teacher Rocks set. The apple cut is from Doodlecharms cart. Thanks for stopping by. Have a creative weekend:-)

O My! With all of this Blogger craziness I neglected to add this to the Link-Up Party! Check it out:-)

Hoppy Birthday!

Hello crafting friends:-) Here is my most recent card for a couple of challenges. The first challenge is Tacky Tuesday. We are supposed to use the bunny cut from the Birthday Bash cart, but I don't have that one so I used the bunny from Doodlecharms. We also needed to use the word or form of the word "hop" on our creation. The sentiment came from MPS's Punny-liscious set. The second blog challenge is Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge (CCCC). My SIL's birthday is very close to Easter this year so I'll be putting this card to use next month:-) Thanks for stopping by. Have a creative day!

Throwback Thursday

I am just lovin' these challenges in which we need to do a layout. I'm so embarrassed to say how far behind I am with scrapbooking my children. I got into the instant gratification of card making. It takes me almost a whole day to do a 2-page layout and who has time for that? I'm lucky if I get 30 min of uninterrupted "me" time.

Anyway, this is my entry for Emma's Throwback Thurs challenge. The requirements were to use the Doodlecharm cart and it needed to be a LO. I also used the Stamped cart to weld the year vertically.
