Teacher Thank You Tag
This week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge is gift tags. Since I've been in the back to school mode, I decided to get an early start on Teacher thank yous with this challenge. I cased a tag I made at a Fetti Fans class last year taught by Susan Liles. All stamps and dies are from Reverse Confetti.

Whale Done!
Happy July to all of you! Today I made a cute summery (is that a word?) card for the Sunday Stamps challenge. I used Echo Park's Splash paper pad along with the stamp set, Seaside, from Reverse Confetti. The dies are also from Reverse Confetti. I added some glossy accents to the whale for a more wet look.

Christmas Tags
I'm am really lovin' these adorable Christmas tags I made at a Fetti Fans class at The Little Blue House this week.

This tag I used for the Kindergarten teacher's gift card. I tied it to a cute coffee mug.

These were a super easy trio. When opened the "to and from" are stamped. I added a little Wink of Stella on the words and the leaf edges.

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge - Congratulations Graduate
Have you ever thought you were totally organized and on top of things only to realize - Not! Ugh, I thought I had my two-page layout done for when I was ready to post only to find it most of the components buried under a stack of scrap cardstock and notes for my sons school project. I didn't want to rush putting the layout together because it is for my scrapbook of my daughter, so I decided to do a quick card.
I used the DCWV Grade School stack along with scraps of solid card stock. The base measures 5 1/4 square. I cut the puppy at 4" from the Create A Critter 2 cart. I attached a die cut tag from My Craft Spot's Tiny Tags set. I used some foam adhesive to pop the little guy up on the card. Make sure to stop over at The Fantabulous Cricut Challenge blog to see the other wonderful DT graduation inspirations:-) Thanks for stopping by! Have a creative day:-)

FCCB Tag Challenge and Crawl Winner
I hope everyone was able to crawl through the Design Team blogs last week. I sure enjoyed getting inspiration from my DT sisters. I also loved all of your sweet comments. And on that note, I had my son Alex pick a random number. He chose comment number 30. Congrats Sonya! Please email me your mailing information and I'll get your Valentine goodies out to you right away. Thanks again to everyone who participated. Make sure you check the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog site Wednesday to find out who the fabulous winners are:-)
This week's challenge is all about Tags! I made a super quick and easy tag that can be attached to any Valentine gift. I used the Something To Celebrate cartridge for the banner tag and the Sweethearts cart for the larger hearts. I used a hand punch for the smallest heart. The sweet sentiment comes from My Pink Stamper's Yummy-licious set. The cardstock is from Echo Park's Victorian Garden stack.

New Use For A Journaling Tag
Happy Monday my crafting friends! My card today is inspired by Moxie Fab's Journaling Tag challenge. They want their readers to create a project using a journaling tag in a different way. I thought that was such a great idea! I have so many preprinted die cut sheets with journaling tags - A new use!!
I used three different tags from a die-cut sheet from Jillibean Soup. The patterned card stock is also from Jillibean Soup wrapped with hand dyed ribbon. I inked the edges and stacked them using foam adhesive. The stamped images come from Iron Gate Stamps Birdhouse set.

Valentine Cards
Well, it sure feels good to be back in my craft room:-) It's been over a month! Time flies when you're attending to family activities.
I saw this fabulous valentine idea on My Craft Spot. Kimberly did a super cute frog tag that fit perfectly in the bitty Whisker Graphics bags. I copied the one she did to use for the girls in my son's class and then did one of my own for the boys.
The tag is cut at 4.25 and the frog and alien are cut at 2.38. The frog is from the Cricut Create a Critter cart and the alien is from the Boys Will Be Boys cart.
I stamped the back with the Valentine sentiment and had my son sign all of them. The super cute words and sentiments are from My Craft Spot's Build A Valentine set. The baker's twine is from Trendy Twine. Thanks for stopping by! Have a creative day:-)

Happy May Day
Well, the sun is out today and I'm feeling like getting creative! I made this for Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge but, also for our neighbors. It was a tradition when I was little and living in a small Iowa town, to hang May baskets on our neighbors doors. I don't think people really do that anymore. Such a shame. Thanks for stopping by. Have a creative day!
