Four Legged Friend Hop

Thanks for hopping by! If you came from Gina's blog then you are on the right track. If you are here because you are one of my fabulous followers, you will want to start at Tanner's blog so you don't miss out on any goodies:-)

I used a fabulous digital scrapbooking software called "My Memories Suite 3" to create this scrapbook page of my dog, Emjay. I have been having so much fun with this "new" way to scrapbook that I'm giving away one MMS3 software to one lucky follower! Make sure to leave a comment on THIS post letting me know what type of furry friend you have:-)

Your next stop is the super talented Amy Jo! If you think you missed a blog I have the list below. Thanks for stopping by! Have a creative day:-)

Welcome to Theme Day Thursday at My Cricut Craftroom! Today is "Laundry" day:-) I used the Wall Decor and More and the Gypsy Font cartridges to enhance this 8 x 8 layout for my son's "First Year" scrapbook. The patterned cardstock is Itsy Bitsty Baby Boy stack from K & Company.

I remember seeing awhile back that someone used this cut for a baby layout and thought that was a great idea. This stack has a cute little "onsie" pattern which I thought would work perfectly with the laundry line cut. I will warn you though, cutting this image this small, you will need a very sharp blade. I had to cut the top layer a couple of times to get it looking somewhat acceptable.

Please make sure you look at all of the other wonderful projects the other DT members have created. You can find their links on Erica's blog. Thanks for stopping by! Have a creative day:-)

Scrapbook Friday

Today is Scrapbook Friday at My Cricut Craftroom and it's all about Disney! I think everyday should be Scrapbook Disney so I can get all of my scrapbook pages caught up:-) This two page layout is actually fairly simple. Years ago when I took scrapbook classes at a local store (which is no longer open - retired) I was taught to keep the pages simple for two reasons; 1) you want the picture(s) to be center stage and 2) you get more pages done quicker:-) I used the Mickey Font cartridge and cut out the letters at 2 1/2" along with each letter's shadow. The patterned paper and cardstock is from my Disney stash that I have been collecting. The empty black box is for my "journaling".

Thanks for stopping by today! Please make sure you click over to Erica's blog to find the links to the other DT Disney Scrapbook creations. Have a creative day:-)

Paper Playtime Challenge

This is my submission for Paper Playtime Challenge #2. The theme for Challenge #2 is "In thy face I see Honor, Truth, & Loyalty." It may be interpreted any way we liked. I thought this was a perfect way to get my mom's pictures from Mount Vernon scrapbooked for her. I thought this quote epitomized George Washington.
