CAS Valentine
Hello my crafty friends! I have made a fairly simple Valentine for a couple of challenges. The sketch came from Freshly Made Sketches and the subject is from Inspired by All The Little Things. The patterned card, stamp, and die is from Reverse Confetti.

Happy Fall!
Hello crafty friends! Yes, a little late on the fall card. I thought this would work nicely for the CAS on Sunday challenge. I used kraft card and stamps from Reverse Confetti's Pumpkin Patch set. Quick and easy. Love it!

CAS Thank You card
I decided working on a few challenges would help inspire and speed up the thank you card making process. I'm a little behind getting out thank-yous from Christmas:-/ The CAS(E) this sketch! challenge this week is a perfect one for a quick thank you card. I used my Cricut (yes, I am soooooo happy it works down here. Many a sleepless night with anxiety if I would be able to use it in Oz) to cut the feathers (yes, again, shame on me for using the sketch so literally - I'm in a bit of a time crunch) using the Straight From The Nest cart and cardstock from My Minds Eye Sunny stack. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up's So Happy For You set.

Floral Sympathy
Well, I feel like I've been MIA from my computer lately. I volunteered to bring popcorn for the teacher treat during Teacher Appreciation week at my son's school (I'll post when they're done). Of course, I can't just bring a tin of popcorn! The OCD crafter in me has to make it "special" - I think I may have gotten in over my head:-P I found out there are 85 teachers and staff at the grade school and I decided to make bags with Cricut cut toppers for each one. Okay, I have 30 done and I have one more week! Ugh! Well, I did find time to make a sympathy card for one of my mom's friends whose mother passed away. I grabbed my Lyrical Letters cart because I remember seeing someone use it for a sympathy card once. Wow, there were quite a few really nice cuts to make a quick and easy/CAS card. I added a little Midnight Blue Stickles for a simple embellishment. The cardstock, patterned paper, and sentiment is from Stampin' Up.

Just a Note
I found this fun new challenge blog, The Outlawz, a few weeks ago. I'm finally going to submit an entry. It's not the typical "blog" challenge that I'm used to. A few hoops to jump through so I'm hoping I do this correctly. When I saw this challenge I new exactly what I was going to do. A quick "note" with a little inspiration from my BFF at Iron Gate Stamps. She recently did a card and used both sides of the same textured cardstock to create a subtle mat.
I used a die and stamp set that I purchased last year from PTI and never used. The set is called Happy Trails. I was drawn to it because of the many wonderful sentiments along with the multiple items and their "trails". I die cut the fountain pen from the same white Bazzill cardstock as the base and stamped the image in black. I popped up the pen for a little added interest after stamping the other images and sentiment with the same black dye ink. I think I'm going to make a few more of these. It was quick and easy and I really like how it came out:-) Thanks for stopping by! Have a creative day!
