Make A Wish

A quick card for a last minute entry to Seize The Birthday sketch challenge before heading out the door.

I used stamps from IGS Birthday Wishes set along with Bazzil chipboard star and a cut star from the George Cricut cart. The blue was embossed with the Cuttlebug Happy Birthday folder. Yes, a little Stickles, too:-)

Follow Your Dreams...

This week's Die Cuttin' Divas challenge was to use a sketch. I used the George and Basic Shapes cart to cut an oval slightly bigger than the largest Spellbinder oval die that I used. The stamped images are from Iron Gate Stamps' Weathervane set. I used water color crayons to color in the sail boat. The patterned paper is from Fancy Pants Designs Beach Bum stack.

This weeks theme at My Cricut Craft Room is all about birthdays and parties. My son is turning 10 this month, so I decided to get a head start on the invitations since I need 40 of them. My son loves Legos and Star Wars. I had to be a little creative since neither of these are on any Cricut carts.  Because I have so many invites to make, I opted for the Lego invitation. I used the George and Basic Shapes cart to cut simple rectangles and circles for the Lego pieces and the Old West cart for the invitation wording.

Make sure you stop by My Cricut Craft Room to see all of the other Birthday and Party projects. Thanks for stopping by! Have a creative day:-)
