Happy Monday to all of you! I want to share with you a project I have been working on for quite some time. I rescued some old family films from my in-laws that were in a shoe box in their attic. I took all of the reels to Costco and had them transfer the film to DVD. The DVD's came back with an unexciting cover - Costco logo and a few "thumbnails" of the video clips. I got this fab idea to try and use
My Memories Suite digital scrapbooking software to customize the covers. I played around with the sizing and placement and come up with a nice template design. Using My Memories Suite made it much easier to print multiple pages of the same design cover. Once I had my design set, all I had to do was change the titles. I made four sets of nine DVD's, one for all of the in-laws. I was also able to make the labels for the DVD's, too. These took a little more time to get the layout right. I used Avery Ink Jet CD labels to print the design on.
I had so much fun doing these that I made a few more for some iMovies I made from my digital family videos.
