Happy May Day

Well, the sun is out today and I'm feeling like getting creative! I made this for Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge but, also for our neighbors. It was a tradition when I was little and living in a small Iowa town, to hang May baskets on our neighbors doors. I don't think people really do that anymore. Such a shame. Thanks for stopping by. Have a creative day!

Happy Mother's Day

Trying not to let these past three weeks of rain get me down, I decided to try and get a card done for a few challenges. This entry is for the Cricut Cardz Mother's Day challenge, The Fantabulous Cricut Mom's the word challenge, and today's Scrappy Mom's Terrific Tuesday Paisley challenge. I was disappointed I couldn't find the right ribbon for my card but I need to submit it tonight for Cricut Cardz. I think I'll go buy every blue ribbon that Hobby Lobby has tomorrow so I won't run into this issue again:-) Thanks for stopping by. Have a creative day!

U Rock!

Before I tackle the basement again I thought I'd get one challenge card done. This one is for Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge. The cart this week is Indie Art.  Was super quick with this one. Printed cs from High School Mat Stack, some metallic cs and one of the guitar cuts from Indie Art. Thanks for stopping by! Have a creative day:-)

If Friends Were Flowers...

Surprised to wake up to snow this morning! Spring Break is not starting off on a good weather note. I hope the kids have a least a few nice days in the 60's before they go back to school (not sure if I can handle them being inside all week either;-) My mission this week is to unpack the rest of the boxes in the basement. Wish me luck! :-)

Here is my entry for Scrappy Moms Terrific Tuesday Challenge. It started out being for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge, also, but I forgot to enter it last night after I got home. It had to be pink, green and springy. I thought I'd incorporate it with the New Arrival cart that the TT challenge required. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms. I also entered this for Whimsical Wednesdays challenge suggested by Stephanie:-)

My Little Lion

Here is a LO of my now 9 month old for his month-by-month scrapbook. Emma's Throwback Thursday challenge gave me the inspiration I needed to finish these pages. There are a lot of cute lion cuts. I had forgotten that B is for Boy has a lion cut. I thought it was cute because my baby is laying just like the cart's lion. Thanks for stopping by. Have a creative day:-)

Birthday Calendar

Here is the birthday calendar I "altered" from Stampin' Up. I got my inspiration for my calendar from the user kkreate on Splitcoaststampers.com quite a few years ago. I had CASEd a couple of months for my calendar to get my creative juices flowing. For my friends calendar, I made some months the same. The rest of the months I changed due to my obsession with my Cricut. I think I may need to make a "new and improved" version for myself, too:-)

Yea! I finished my friend's birthday gift! I'll post all of the pages Sunday. I'm delivering it to her on Saturday:-) Here is the April page that I'm submitting for Cricut Cardz challenge and Paper Cutz challenge.

Welcome

It's just not happenin' for me:-/ Once again, I had and idea but it didn't come out like I thought it would. And now it's too late to start over because I need to upload this card for the Cricut Cardz challenge and then get movin' on the birthday gift for my friend. I only have maybe two days to get it done. Yes, the flourish looks like an afterthought because I did forget to incorporate it into my card and did not want to start over. Oh well, at least I'm done. I used My Community and Cake Basics carts for this card. The CS is from Stampin' Up!.

Storage Ideas for Clear Mounted Stamp Sets

Happy Monday crafting friends! Well, it took me awhile to get this short video done but I think I've figured it out. It looked okay on imovie but not sure what will happen once it's on Youtube. Let me know what you think. I need to "perfect" my filming techniques so I'm ready to help my friend when she debuts her new stamp line:-)
