Welcome Baby - Would You Ever Guess Wednesday

Thank you for stopping by:-) For today's My Cricut Craftroom WYEGW, I created this card for a friend who will be having a baby boy. After speaking with her (okay texting with her) the other day, I found out she may be having him sooner than later. I decided I better get her card done ASAP!

I picked out the image from the Holiday Cakes cartridge because I liked the simplicity of the elephant. I used some solid CS (cardstock) from PTI (Papertrey Ink) and patterned CS from DCWV (Die Cuts With A View) Nana's Kitchen. The little heart was cut from some PP (patterned paper) DD (Daisy D's). I embossed the white CS with the Baby Words Cuttlebug folder and the blue part of the elephant with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder. I used a small black brad for the eye and some ribbon from American Crafts. I popped up the blue layer and the heart with foam adhesive and added a little doodling with my Uniball Signo pen (love this thing!).

Please make sure you head over to Erica's blog so you can see all of the other fun projects. Have a wonderfully crafty day:-)
