Birthday Invitations

Good evening fellow all night crafters:-) I'm just getting started with the weekend chores and it is 10:30pm! Looks like an all nighter:-( Before I head to Walmart (thank goodness for 24 hour stores) I thought I'd share with you a peak at my son's birthday invites. He will be one on the fourth of July so I incorporated some RW&B. He also likes turtles. I entering this for the Paper Playtime Challenge, too.

For this invite I used Create A Critter for the turtle and part of the hat. I used another cut from Everyday Paper Dolls for the blue part. The balloon cut came from George. The CS is a combo of Stampin' Up, PTI, and DCWV Baby Boy Stack (I like to spread the love<3), Stickles, and airmail twine from The Cupcake SocialOff to start the laundry then head to the store! Thanks for stopping by! Have a creative day or what's left of it:-)

  2. Super invite! So cute! You sound like me, I wait till late Sunday night then scramble to clean the house and do laundry then start texting my friends to see who will come shopping with me at Wal-mart at midnight! Good Times!

  3. Hi, Tammy! I'm making the rounds and introducing myself to my new Just Wordz teamies. I have looked at some of your work and your idea for storing twine is fantastic! I'm so excited to have been selected to represent Kim's stamp line and I look forward to working with you. I'll be back to grab your blinkie soon.

    Have a wonderful week!

  4. Very cute card. Create a critter is such a cute cartridge. I know of many people who have used it for invitations. Love the party hat and balloons.
I am so glad I am not the only one that starts chores at night. I went and cleaned out my walk in closet last night at 9pm and laundry. My husband thinks us women are crazy and he dislikes that we are multitaskers. Go figure.
    Thanks for sharing.
